The Storm/ The Aftermath

A lot of times when relationships go sour it can feel like an unexpected raging storm came through and wrecked everything. Sometimes all that's left in the dubree is your broken heart. This poem uses the events of a storm to illustrate how it feels when a once bright and happy relationship goes bad. Part I is the Storm and Part II is The Aftermath

The Storm

It began as a bright and sunny day
The warm breeze made the trees slightly sway
The sky is clear and there's a peacefulness in the air
You take a deep breath & inhale nature's arouma , hmmm smells like fall is near
There was something unique about this day, something about how the clouds sat high
How the sun was positioned directly in the center of the sky
The sun was like the star of the show and the clouds were the cast
It was one of those days you wish could be made to last
You begin to imagine all the things that could happen before the sun would set
You were just about to let your mind run wild when you see something you don't expect
It appeared the sun was beginning to struggle with the clouds, you wonder what it could be
Perhaps the clouds are just passing you think, but then you feel a chilling breeze
You gaze at your watch because it couldn't possibly be time
You convince yourself that it will pass, and everything will be fine
But the clouds just linger they never really seem to pass
You feel a bit uneasy, because this wasn't in the forecast
Suddenly the clouds stop moving and the sky goes completly clear
All the clouds had disappeared and only the sun was there
Now that the clouds had passed everything seems much clearer than before
You begin to feel the peacefulness again until you hear a sudden roar
You gaze away from the sun and see the clouds approaching big, dark, and gray
They appeared bound and determined to move your sunshine out the way
You begin to look for shelter, you needed some place to hide
There's a door, but you're too late, it's locked and no one is inside
The sunshine is now gone, and the sky is a misty gray
The lightening crackles, the thunder roars, the clouds part, and it begins to rain
You have no protection from the wind, it's so violent it nearly knocks you off your feet
The storm is raging and you are who it is trying to defeat
You close your eyes and pray that it will all go away
You open your eyes to realize that this was the end of your bright and sunny day

The Aftermath

The storm has cleared...look around at what's left
Barely anything still stands ...watch your step
The storm had no mercy it ruined everything it touched
Too bad there was no place to hide your feelings...now they're crushed
Your wounds are fresh and your body still aches
You try to ignore the pain, but it hurts bad in a certain place
You keep moving to get out of the wreckage and find your way back
To the place you were before you got thrown off your track
You shiver a bit because it's kind of cold outside
The storm ripped off your clothes, your naked and there's no where to hide
The cold doesn't compare to the pain inside your chest
It's hard to imagine how you even got in this mess
As you struggle through the dubree you stumble across what appears to be a chunk of your heart laying in the rubble
You pick it up, dust it off as best you can, and realize the damage is subtle
You continue on through the wreckage and hope to find your pride along the way
You gaze ahead toward the sunshine bringing in another bright and sunny day
The only thing better than the sunny days gone past
Are the sunny days to come once you've made it out the aftermath

The Nigger in Me

I’m no nigger, so if you don’t mind remove the “er” please
There’s no cotton picking, master whipping, mistress slapping on me
I’m no heart broken servant to the devils serpent waiting to sink it’s fangs
I’ve got the right and I have chosen I won’t be broken by the idioms of the displaced man
I reject your notion of what I’m supposing intends to demean my worth
I was made of God’s hands to obey his commands and live His will on Earth
I worship a savior who forgives my behavior and supports my right to free will
And if what I’m saying has got you complaining I suggest you leave him that bill
See I’m no nigger, so if you don’t mind remove the “er” please
By the tone of my voice and my talks about choice, you can tell there’s no nigger in me
Perhaps if niggers weren’t broken they could’ve spoken and put you in your place
Let you know they weren’t joking, and didn’t mind showing how a nigger could rearrange your face
Your mind’s no keener, your fear is just steeper, a weaker breed of man I must say
God knew what he was doing when he was choosing who you’d be calling nigger back in the day
He knew that these here knees wouldn’t be begging at your feet talking bout “no master why me?”
He figured I’d just look you in the eye with a grin and reply…“Ah Ha, Nigga Please!”

I Wonder

To my eldest sister Damali Ashman,

I wonder what my sister sees when she closes her eyes
I wonder if the dreams she dreams are just like yours and mine
I wonder if her laughter means her imagination's running wild
I wonder if she dreams different things from when she was a child
I wonder if her memories last or if they never stay
I wish could just ask her, I wonder what she'd say
I wonder how it feels to never get the chance to hear
I wonder if she knows she can't or if she even cares
I wonder if she's miserable because she's stuck inside
She can't reveal her own thoughts, I wonder if she's tried
I wonder if she gets lonely and cries herself to sleep
I wonder how she knows to stay strong even when she's weak
I wonder what the world is like just through touch and smell
I wonder if God told her the secrets of the world because he knew she wouldn't tell
I wonder what my sister would be like if she could hear and see
I wonder if my sister thinks or even wonders about me

In Your Eyes My Divinity Lies

I am as divine as your eyes allow you to see
And if still you can't find I challenge you to seek
Search far & wide for the good in me
Cross oceans, search rivers and mountain peaks
And still if you don't find what you're looking for
If you've searched every corner and knocked down every door
Then close your eyes, stop listening, and try hard not to think
Open your heart and your mind and let the inflow sink
If still you see and feel nothing at all
Maybe it's not just me with a concrete wall
Perhaps your shielding a past of your own
Filled with disappointment, heartache, and times u felt alone
If you still haven't found you then you'll never find me
And disappointed, hurt, and alone is all you'll ever be
Look at yourself through those same eyes u see MY flaws
Tell me what you see when you look inside yourself and press pause
If nothing's there maybe within is where you should start your search
Once you've found yourself hopefully then you'll see my worth
It's with a better you, you'll find a better me
A little adjusting of those eyes and now you see
Two drained batteries are a source of little to NO power
If I am the rain you be the sunshine to help blossom this flower
You have to be fully charged to revive me when my power source is low
Help me clear away the clouds with the rays of your glow
If I am the "wrong" then you must be the "right"
And if I am the darkness you should be my light
You for me and I for you
Say I were the right & you were the wrong I'd be your sunshine too
I'd be your source of power to recharge you when your weak
I'd lend you my eyes to help you find what you seek
See I am to you, how you see me, and you to me the same
Choose to see the BEST in me and the BEST of me you'll gain
Next time you stop listening, stop thinking, and your eyes are closed
Tell me if you still see me and feel the connection of our souls
When you go searching to find what's best in me
Remember it's only thru ur own eyes you'll find my divinity

Politics!!!!

Okay people, talking politics could possibly be one of the most frustrating topics in the existence of man. But, I'm drinking some tea and listening to Maxwell to help me mellow out before I embark on this irritating but necessary task. I'm going to keep it recent, because trying to go back to Election Day would have me sitting here for eternity and perhaps borderline clinically insane. This is another instance where I couldn't fit my entire thought in my facebook status, so I decided to blog about it. I am deeply concerned about the future of this nation. Besides, the heart-breaking baby boom where people are just having babies because they can or b/c that seems to be the only way to be eligible for Medicaid, in Georgia at least; I'm also seriously concerned with how much of an influence the media has on people. Now, being an advertising major, I'm learning about all aspects of media, and how far it's come. I must say that I'm really worried that not only has media taken over, but this nation has becomes so dependent on media for information that they can't distinguish fact from fiction, so they just believe everything. I mean the thought of this alone is nauseating. Politics has existed since the beginning of time, and much of what we see going on today has probably taken place before. Political ideologies were spread through word of mouth, typically by someone who was trusted or "known" to be scholarly or highly distinguished in their community. Basically, people got their political knowledge and "facts" from people they trusted. If you look in history books, for a long time poor people had zero political representation. The only people that participated in politics were the wealthy. Needless to say, they've been calling the shots for a while. Now, I understand that being powerful for so long can create sort of a comfort in the role of power, and a drastic discomfort from the very thought of not being in power. But, times change and roles shift.

Now, let’s shift back to today. I refuse to believe that some democrats are the only people in touch with reality. Meaning, what's going on right now. It's not a dream. You're not going to wake up any second and things will be back to how you want it. This is the real, legit, state of our nation today. Now, I don't have to be an economist to know how we got here. I may not know every specific detail, but those who do know, won't share, so I guess we'll never know. But, based on what they couldn't conceal, and what they seemingly never tried to conceal, it's pretty damn clear how we got here. Now, my question is....are people refusing to acknowledge it or can they seriously not make the connection? If it's the latter, I can't say I'm surprised. After all America hasn't always been know for its intelligence. Don't get me wrong, you would have to be slightly intelligent to realize that the way American history was written is rather creative. They use a lot of positive words to basically tell us that they lied, stole, abused, and corrupted in order to develop this fine nation. I mean, it's a pretty simple thing to do. Tell people the same story how they want to hear it. It's kind of the same thing with religious beliefs. We all act like we have these drastically opposing beliefs, when really we are all reading the same stories; it's just one major part of them that is different. Honestly, every function of life pretty much works that way. Take advertising for example. How often do you see an advertisement that you've never seen before? How soon after that do you see all advertisements seeming to have remnants of that first one you saw? It's almost human nature to mimic in our “own way.” Like, when a new trend comes out that you really like, you try to make it your own so it doesn't seem like you’re following the crowd or being a “copycat”. It doesn't change the fact that you saw it somewhere else first and tried your best to uniquely duplicate it. Russia puts a man on the moon, so the US finds a way to "uniquely" duplicate that event...LOL...I'm not even going to go there. Point being, is that none of us, at least not today, can be credited for doing it first or doing it best. I mean think of inventions such as the printing press. The guy who got the credit for it, just elaborated on someone else’s discovery. It’s the same thing with radio, television, and all other forms of media. There was no one guy, who was just touched by the hand of God, and had an epiphany to create technology. Radio and television went through an exhaust of court cases and trials to become what it is today. One person started playing around in his garage and discovered transmission. A couple years later someone attempting to do the same thing the first guy did discovered something new, and so forth and so on. Many Americans who are given credit for discoveries and ideologies, studied in foreign countries or had foreign instructors. Back in the day if you wanted your kid to be really smart and you could afford it, you outsourced their education. Not such a bad idea. Especially with the way things are looking today. I mean really, if the reason people believe what they believe because they are incapable of objectively experiencing life, than boy do I wish they could get a day in my shoes. Seriously, it's not that difficult. Shut up about you and yours. Silence the thoughts in your head that you can't control, and just look around you.

Imagine you are an immigrant (whoa because none of us are one of those) LOL...you've heard nothing about America, except that you could get a better life here. So, you plop down on American soil, via however it is that you got here, and you start looking around. Let's say you were dropped off in the middle of the south, Georgia! You go to a nearby coffee shop that has a television tuned in to the most recent events in the country. Now, you have no idea what they're talking about but it seems pretty intense. You lean over to the person to the right of you, and ask what are they talking about? After, they look at you like you're some sort of "alien", they reply that "Obama's tryna plummet this country to hell, and take all our money while he's at!" You look confused, because you have no idea what Obama is, or what "it" has to do with hell or money. So, you lean to the left to see what the person on the other side of you has to say. They give you the same look before replying, "President Obama is attempting to push a new healthcare plan that will ensure that all Americans have healthcare coverage." You think to yourself well what's wrong with that, and you say “isn't that a good thing.” Then, the person says well it's a little complicated because certain people feel like the government shouldn't be in control of healthcare, and that it will cost too much money. You think to yourself, this is the second time Obama and money have been put in the same sentence. So you ask, does this Obama have all the money. The person giggles a little, and says NO, but he is the president so he makes the decisions on how to use the "money". So then you say, but I thought America had a lot of money. I mean, if there's a lot of it what's wrong with giving a little to make sure people stay healthy. The person than realizes that you must not be from here, so they explain. Well, during the term of the previous president Bush, there was a terrorist attack in New York City in 2001 that killed a lot of people. It really shook the entire nation, but in efforts to uphold the ideas of patriotism and "protection of our land", Bush decided it was necessary for America to go to war with Iraq and confiscate their weapons of mass destruction. There had been a long-standing feud with America and the Middle East, mostly over oil. Confused, you ask, oil? What the heck are they going to do with a bunch of oil? The person laughs and said there's a lot of money connected to oil. You think to yourself, there goes that money word again. The person continues and explains that the war is still going on in Iraq and now in Afghanistan and it costs a lot of money, for soldiers, equipment, artillery, etc. So you ask, well who's paying for it. The person says, well we are. You say, me? I'm paying for it too, I just got here. The person says well, the government is, but we pay the government in taxes. So then you ask, so all that money that Obama has to decide how to use, is your money anyway. The person says well a lot of it is. They continue to explain that because the war costs so much money, America is in a lot of debt. Confused, you ask but didn't America declare the war? The person replies yes, but a lot of people see the terrorist attack as a declaration of war. You say, well if they were declaring war on America, wouldn't the war be here. The person realizes you make a good point, but doesn't really have the answer for that. They continue to tell you about the war and then mention a bailout. You stop them and say, wait what's a bailout, like out of jail? They laugh, and say no the financial institutions (the banks) were in some money trouble so the government bailed them out like $7 billion. $7 billion? That seems like a lot of money. They say it is. So then you ask well how much does the war cost, and they reply billions nearly trillions...Of dollars? You ask. Yes, of dollars, lives, time, resources, etc, they reply. You start thinking to yourself, and then you ask so where does Obama come in on all of this? The person says well Obama inherited all of this when he was elected president last November. Inherited? What's that mean? It means that all of this happened before he was ever president, and now he's trying his best to help the economy because we are now in a recession. What's a recession, you ask? It's basically the same thing as a depression. It's when the Gross Domestic Product, trade, and employment rate are on a steady decline for more than six months to a year. So there aren't any jobs here either, you ask? Well they are jobs, just not enough. You ask, so there aren't enough jobs or enough money, so how do you get a better life. The person replies, I don't know. So, back to this healthcare thing, who are the people that think America can't afford it. Many of them are like that man to the right of you, more specifically republicans. Bush is a republican, and Obama is what we call a democrat. You ask, well what are you, and the person replies, I'm not so sure anymore. You then ask, so the people who say America can't afford it, are the same people who supported the other guy who contributed to a lot of the debt? The person replies, yes many are republicans who voted to start the war on terrorism. You say, wait what? War on terrorism? I thought they were going to get weapons of mass destruction. What happened to that? The person replies, well there weren't any. By now, you're really confused. So you say, what do you mean there weren't any? The person said well either they lied or they were misinformed. You say, so, they started a war that would cost billions of dollars on hunch? The person replies, I'll guess we'll never know for sure. You then remember the reaction of the person to the right of you, and ask so why did that person say Obama was taking your money and sending you all to hell. The person giggles, and says well that's a whole other issue, but I've have to go to work, and I can't be late or I might lose my job, so it was nice talking to you. Good luck with everything.

What color are these people? Does it matter? Did the "immigrant" ever mention the president’s race? Does the person to the left ever use his race as a reason for disagreement? What if you were that "immigrant", what would you be thinking when that person walked away? Do you think "minorities" or "immigrants" tend to be more liberal because they flip a coin? No, it's because they learn about politics the old fashion way. The world doesn't make sense. We do our best to make sense of the world on our own terms. There are no facts, and statistics are usually a bunch of biased calculations that can easily be shifted one way or the other based on who collects the data and where. Words are the most useful source of manipulation. "The facts say..." "Statistics show.." and we automatically believe it. "Opinion polls show...." Whose facts, what statistics, whose opinion?" Don't let the sensationalism of media drive you to hell and out of all your money! Making informed decisions is the first step to making this nation a “better place for you, and for me, & the entire human race.” There are people dying on American streets. How about you take a mission trip to the many poverty stricken places that plague our nation? How about you feed a hungry child in downtown Atlanta? Doing what you can to reach out to the rest of the world is great, but you have to take care of home too? No sense in spreading Christian doctrines that you don’t follow nor believe. The bible says love all people, regardless of race or creed. When you have more, then share it with those who have less. Everyday, you hear someone talking about their rights. But, have we forgotten the foundation of the constitution that gives us those rights. That this one nation is UNDER GOD indivisible, with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL! Come on folks, you said it, now why can’t you live it? It’s time to slide on down that mighty soap box we’ve been on for the past couple hundred years, and realize, we aren’t so damn great. The only way to reclaim our “greatness” is to increase the peace and decrease the hate! You want to take on the Middle East to feel powerful, and DIE, be my best guest, but don’t take this nation down with you!

Remembering Michael Jackson!!!!

Okay so Michael Jackson's death is obviously an occasion to blog....screw all the people that claim their sick of hearing about Michael Jackson...."just get over it"...no one is gonna just get over it....Regardless if certain people realize it or not Michael Jackson was a big deal...a Huge deal...Not because he was a superstar but because of the unique individual he was....Michael Jackson created bonds across the universe that no other human being was able to accomplish....He paved the way for white people to look beyond black or white and vote for a black man as president of the United States...with songs like "Black or White"....He spoke volumes through his music...and for that alone he deserves respect....I think it's funny how people are so quick to talk about his freakish ways and how he "had sex with little boys", but come on people get real....We all know...Michael DID NOT rape no little boys...given his fascination with children was unusual (compared to the usual perverted taboos of men and children) but damn his entire life was unusual...we decide what parts of it we are willing to be copacetic with... I could careless about what he looked like on the outside, Michael Jackson was a BLACK man with African American blood running through his veins....I may step on people's toes with this one, but this perverted sense of reality in America was created by white folks....I mean let's just be real for a minute...most of the time when you hear of little boys being molested, what is the scenario?Who is the perpetrator and who is the victim? Now, I know it's possible and I'm sure it's happened before, but Black folks just don't hold the child predator, serial killing, psycho teddy title....I repeat

MICHAEL JACKSON WAS A BLACK MAN

whether that's what he wanted to be or not. Black people pretty much had a clean slate besides the unfortunate Brian Nichols and DC sniper, but other than that Black folks really don't have much on their wrap sheet as far as heinous crimes. We just don't get down like that....(Marijuana charges, gang violence, petty theft, "black" crimes...maybe) I know this sounds general...but that doesn't make it any less true....Traditionally Black people usually don't allow their children to go to people's homes that they don't know and trust....As a kid I couldn't go to my friends house unless my mom knew my friend's parents. Sleepovers were practically a no no if my friend's mom had a live in boyfriend or if my friend had an older brother that my mother didn't know and at least feel moderately comfortable leaving me with...This was at 12 and 14 years old...I wasn't a little child, but my mother was protective of me, as she was all her children....Not because Michael Jackson(s) existed but because the freaks that think up the bullshit they accused him of and the actual perverts that are, that's right in your church, in your neighborhood, at your job, teaching your children's classes, troop leader of your sons boyscout troop, your own damn family members.....exist...People who leave their children with strangers because they're celebrities are ass holes....If you left your child with Michael Jackson with the slightest doubt that he didn't have the best interest of your child at hand....you're an ass hole....and if a large settlement would make all accusations go away, your a lying asshole....It's so easy for us (the media) to be cynical....it's so easy to prefer that he was peeking in those little boys pants, than to believe that he never had a real childhood and just wanted the opportunity to have the company of people who he felt he could most identify with....people who didn't idolize or criticize him....nothing is more pure than the love of a child...that's perhaps the only love he could trust....Today's highly sexualized media will never understand that.....Everything is about, who is doing who, who is pregnant by who, who sleeping with who's husband, and what are gonna happen to their children....Imagine if we all had a reality TV show.....if all our everyday dirty stinking laundry could be broadcasted for the world to see....Where would we find time to pass judgement on the lives of others if we were busy trying to defend the images that were being portrayed of our own lives....If the world hasn't realized it yet, the media RUIN LIVES....who are the media? We are....this very form of communication is media...our innovative technologies are being used as tools to suck the souls out of mankind...and it is seriously upsetting....I don't even like to watch TV anymore....people lie, people cry, people die all through the scope of a lens that will broadcast their shortcomings, their pain, and their loss across the universe...
Many people say stars should know what their getting themselves into, but folks let's remember Michael didn't ask to be a superstar....He didn't sign up for this kind of life....He was shy and private and really didn't want to be in the limelight, as you can see in his many exploited interviews....it's sooo sad to see that people took every opportunity to break down a man who despite a traumatic childhood, tried to keep high spirits....I watched the interview that the Indian man from England did on Michael Jackson....and he mentioned many times how Michael seemed unfazed by the response of the media or by people's uproar about his behavior....to me it seemed like he was coping the best he could...my motto is...if it's bullshit don't entertain it...and because he refused to entertain bullshit they tried to make it seem like he was out of his mind or out of this world....You know what, he was out of this world....cuz if he was in it....with his delicate heart and seemingly kind soul....he wouldn't have been able to survive the 50 years he did in this world of hate and brutality....don't just listen to the beat or watch his dance moves....listen to the words of his songs....His heart...his core...his soul was in his music....He loved the world....and the world loved him, hated him, judged him, brutalized him, criticized him, disrespected him, and ultimately killed him! Even in his death the media won't allow him peace...they wanna know how it happened, was he on drugs, did his freakish ways have something to do with it, what's gonna happen to his kids, was he broke, was he happy, was he sick, was he in pain, how many more ways can we suck the life of someone even after their death...EVERYONE HAS THEIR PROBLEMS, ISSUES, SHORTCOMINGS, and REGRETS....and we ALL come before the judgment of GOD....Michael's gone...he has already done all he can under the sun...The only judgment that matters now is Gods....ya'll can keep your unnecessary, seriously irrelevant, unbelievably heartless judgments to yourself.....cuz it really doesn't matter what YOU thought of him or what YOU think is true....GOD sees the good in his children beyond what meets the eye or falls on the unreliable ear. We don't matter....YOU just better hope that all those sour feelings that you hold for a man you never truly knew don't affect when it's your time to be judged before THE KING....just like you follow the news media and witness the lives and demise of people...GOD is witness to all that you do, all that you think, all that you feel, all that you say and don't say....and only he knows the true heart of man....
It's ridiculous to see how people write post saying "children will be safer with him dead".....everyone wants to be a damn comedian....Children will never be safe as long as they have ass holes for parents, and as long as mankind is drenched in sin...Some of the same ass holes making comments about him being a child molester or being homo have probably taken it up the ass a few times themselves...No one knows for sure what was going on in Michael Jackson's head....but personally I truly believe he had a genuine concern for people, and really loved children....I probably believe him, because although I'm not fascinated with kids....I do believe that in order to improve our future and the future of mankind we have to start with children....Children need to be loved, nurtured, and cared for....Every psychologist who would label Michael "Jacko the Wacko"....would also have to agree with him that parents don't raise their children anymore, the Internet or television does....Parents expect their kids to interpret love through money or vacations or simply by providing a roof over their head....Young girls are having babies and continuing to live their lives, and the child doesn't get any actual parenting till it's too late....We have these taboos that when a baby cries let em cry...."their just spoiled"....when in reality studies show that a child that is held and cared for during the first couple months of development has better development then those who were left to cry themselves to sleep. Your kids misbehave....you whoop them till their black and blue so they will learn....right? But then you end up having to whoop their ass for the same thing over and over, because they're not learning anything but to fear you and hate you....The persons ass you should be kicking is your own....because if you were doing your job as a parent your kid, unless they're deaf, has the capacity to learn to respect your word and not the strike of your hand. The majority of parents who whip their kids, do it because they want to set an example, and they believe that's the only way, but that's just because they really haven't grasped what parenting means....A well behaved, emotionally distressed child is no better than a child who acts out....At least the child who acts out isn't afraid to be up front about it....the fearful child will be plotting in the background, thinking about stabbing your ass or blowing up their school....where do serial killers come from? From parents that either didn't care, cared too damn much, or was too damn retarded to see the damage they were doing to their children....God doesn't make monsters....PEOPLE make monsters!
I really think Michael Jackson realized this truth (perhaps through his own traumatic childhood) and genuinely wanted to provide an environment that kids could feel comfortable to just be kids. He wanted to care for children the way he wanted to be cared for as a child. He wanted to adopt 2 children from every continent....if the man was a freak rather than a humanitarian, what the hell would he need to go to different continents to get children for...it's a whole lot of kids right here in America... but then I guess you'll argue that he wanted to adopt little sex slaves and he knew American children would tell on him...right? LOL...Just because most Americans are oversexed heathens doesn't mean all are...but if it makes you sleep at night to believe that he was poking little boys, fine! Whatever floats your whacked out boat....the crazy thing is that so many of the people who really believe Michael raped little boys....are so focused on a man they never knew, and never will know, that their not even paying attention to their own households....Even if Michael did it....that doesn't make your child anymore safe from the neighborhood predator...Let's be clear, statistics show that the majority of child molestation cases happen either within the household or by somebody the victim knew! People need to open a damn book every once and while, and stop relying on FOX news, Yahoo, CNN, or TV Guide (who hire people of mediocre intelligence, with the slightest ability to read a teleprompter) to feed your intellect....You wanna know why George Bush happened twice? Or why WE have allowed the economy to fall into a recession..... It's because of the over abundances of ignoramuses that we have breathing in this country...You know the world is falling to shambles when people think destroying people's lives is entertainment....People give up on living their own lives, or creating their own successes, and instead they just foster in the misery of others....It's funny how everyone believes that GOD is gonna show up one day and destroy the earth as it is now....we are destroying the earth and each other everyday, by the time God gets here we're gonna pretty much have finished the job on our own! Michael Jackson is lucky that he doesn't have to be here to endure what's to come!

..... pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man" Luke 21: 36

America wants a "Believer" to Idolize

The whole American Idol controversy should really take no one by surprise. When I saw what Danny Gokey's pastor posted on twitter, I knew that the ignoramuses that inhabit this potentially "great" nation would buy into the bullshit. I really knew people had lost it when someone posted on another blog that he didn't see how "a gay person could be a believer"???? Excuse my language but WTF? I mean what bible do these people read? What God do they have a relationship with? Homosexuality is a sin, according to various interpretations of the christian bible. However, the last time I checked the bible also points out that we are all drenched in sin by our very nature as humans. Jesus didn't die on the cross in exchange for Christians NOT to sin, he died in exchange for the sins that Christians did commit, would commit, and CONTINUE to commit. This whole notion that you're not a believer if you're gay or have an abortion is nonsense. How many "believers" walk into a church every Sunday after their week of lying, fornicating, self-indulging, hypocrisy, and un-Christlike behavior? No person is washed entirely from sin. I don't care if you were baptized in the Jordan, your are still a descendant of the original sin. The first step to being more Christ-like, is realizing our own imperfections and that NONE of us are worthy of the grace of God. Even if Adam Lambert didn't believe in God, the "believers" are ridiculous for even saying that they need a "believer" to represent American "Idol." Open your bible and see what it says about "idolizing" people. You know, the conditioned Christians of the world are really starting to make Christianity look bad. Obviously, some people need to turn off their television, and revisit their bible before they start claiming faith and devout beliefs....most Christians in America don't even know what they truly believe. Our country is falling to shambles because of these skewered "on & off" beliefs of so-called Christian Americans. Your lie, your bastard child, your judgemental ways, your HATE, has no privilege over homosexuality or any other sin that faithful Christians deem as "a guaranteed ticket to hell." Too bad people couldn't focus on what comes out his mouth, rather than what goes in it!
